You’re probably wondering why something like water, which seems a totally natural product, could be labelled and promoted as organic? Well, the truth is it can’t!

The Biological Farmers Association (BFA) is Australia’s largest representative organic body. These are the guys that determine whether something is organic or not.

Being certified as organic is like a golden tick of approval. It means you can be sure that the product has been farmed in way that is kind to you and the environment.

Recently the BFA came to the conclusion that organic should be restricted to products subjected to a biological process, such as traditional farming

Because water is packaged in its natural state, the BFA decided that it shouldn’t be labelled as organic, because it’s not of agricultural origin.

However, because natural products like water are simply taken from their environment and packaged, the BFA put in place the ‘Approved Product’ program by which products such as these are assessed.

Another Bloody Water has product approval from the BFA as we use processes that maintain the naturally high quality of our water, minimise harm to the environment and ensure our water source will still be there in 100 years time.

Another Bloody Water welcome these ongoing assessments by the BFA as they keep us on our toes and ensure that the water you are drinking is of the purest quality possible.
